What are you going to talk about?
Art & Artists. Comics. TV Shows old and new. Cosplay. Movies. Books. Pretty much entertainment as a whole but from a geek’s perspective with a little art history thrown in for good measure. Then there are the random tidbits that happen to spark in my mind. For those that this blog is directed towards, the idea is to contribute conversation to the culture that we all enjoy and are a part of. I love how the internet is capable of spreading a wealth of information. I would love to be able to share the coolest new artist that I have found or discuss the storytelling that is being utilized in comics while translated into movies and shows or how art affects how we perceive characters and environments as tool in visual storytelling.
Essentially, I would love to geek out with you.
What can I expect from this blog?
If you haven’t noticed already, I’m pretty interested in the arts and especially comics. The nice thing is that there is such a wide platform of content that I will be covering multiple things. Generally I plan on posting monthly. Every so often if there is a subject that would be better posted within a certain time window, I will deviate from my regular schedule and might write a larger quantity of posts due to my excitement with something cool or if my muse decides grace me with her presence in the wee hours of the morning.
What I request from you.
If you happen to agree with or like some of the things I am posting, feel free to like it, follow my blog, and share it with others. Encouragement makes the world go round. Also, if you have some ideas or content that you would like me to review or discuss, just follow this link to the Contact page (or click up at the top) and send me an email.
I love discussions as a whole. This is just a reminder to keep things respectful and civil in any context and situation. We are all part of a mutual community and so proper behavior dictates courtesy and respect even towards differing opinions. I may not happen to like Wolverine and despise that he has been the Cover Boy for X-Men for the longest time while you may absolutely adore him as a superhero. I can understand the enticement and respect your opinion while retaining my own. Differing opinions are ok. It makes the world interesting. Let’s just not destroy one another over it.
Aside from that, feel free to geek out with me.
Artist. Teacher. Comic Book Lover.
